synopsis:
Chen Chen (Bruce Lee) arrives at Shanghai to attend the funeral of his teacher, famed boxer Ho Yuan-chia.  A tablet bearing the characters “The Sick Nation in Eastern Asia” is sent to the school by a Japanese Martial Arts Association.  It is a national insult to the Chinese, therefore angered Chen storms the Japanese Association. At the wish of his colleagues, Chen is about to leave the troubled scene for a while.  But he changes his mind at the last minute upon the discovery of his teacher’s death was masterminded by the Japanese Association. Chen forces his way into the Japanese Association.  In the ensuing combat, he slays the top Japanese fighters Nin Mu and a Russian boxers on their side.

Later, the Ching Wu School comes under a massive attack by Nin Mu’s henchmen for revenge. While Chen’s colleagues Chen-hsia and Li-erh (Nora Miao) are boiling with anger, the Japanese Consul arrives with a chief police detective. It is understood that the school will be held responsible for Nin Mu’s death, if Chen fails to give himself up. Another clash looks imminent, Chen makes his surprise appearance.

synopsis:
A young Hong Kong man, Tang Lung arrives at Rome to help a friend of his family, a girl called Chen Ching-hua.  She has been threatened by local gangsters who want to takeover her restaurant.  Soon after Tang’s arrival, the gangsters appear at the restaurant and force Chen to sign over the deed.  They laugh at the Chinese style of fighting.  Angry Tang challenges and defeats them in an excellent show of his fighting skills.  The mastermind of the gang orders Tang’s assassination.  When this fails, the gang leader hires an international Karate champion form the United States in a last attempt to kill Tang.  Tang meets the American in a coliseum and they fight like gladiators to the death.

synopsis:
This is Bruce Lee at his coolest with all the backing of the great production values of a Hollywood studio behind him.  The greatest fighting machine ever to emerge from Hong Kong, Bruce Lee kicks his way to the international stage as a lightning fist spy who infiltrates an ex-Shaolin Monk’s private island to bring the villain to justice.  Lee portrays Li, a Shaolin monk who is invited to a martial arts tournament sponsored by Shaolin master-turned-bad Han.  Han has not only disgraced his Shaolin roots but is also a drug lord and, as Li finds out later, the murderer of his sister three years ago.  To get to Han, however, Li has to face off with two American exponents, Williams and Roper…

synopsis:
Bruce Lee’s last screen work (he died during the production), “Game Of Death” is a film that mystifies the man and the legend.  Lee plays Billy Lo, a successful movie star, who is shot for refusing to join an international management syndicate.  He fakes his own death as an opportunity to pursue the gang in secret.  Although the death of Lee inevitably affected the final production of the film, it still contains some of the most unforgettable sequences in the history of cinema.  The climax, in which Lee combats different masters of martial arts on each floor as he climbs his way to the top of a pagoda, is a perfect example.  And the unique nunchaku battle with Danny Inasanto proves that Lee was years ahead of his time.
